Ask about coverageFREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A clearer start to compression care.
New to compression or unsure what your plan requires? These answers cover the questions we hear most often.
Ask another questionWhat do compression socks and stockings do?
They apply graduated pressure, tightest at the ankle and gradually lighter up the leg, to support circulation. Many people use them to ease tired, heavy legs, reduce swelling, and stay comfortable during long hours of sitting, standing, or travel.
What compression level should I choose?
Light compression (15-20 mmHg) suits everyday comfort, travel, and pregnancy. Moderate (20-30 mmHg) and firm (30-40 mmHg) levels are used for more noticeable swelling or vein conditions. For 20 mmHg and above, we recommend speaking with your doctor or healthcare professional first.
How do I find the right size?
Measure your ankle, calf, and leg length, ideally in the morning when swelling is at its lowest. Use bare skin and pull the tape snug but not tight. Our sizing guide walks you through each step, and our team can help if you're between sizes.
Can I wear compression socks every day?
Yes, most people wear them throughout the day and take them off at night. Put them on in the morning for the best fit. If you have diabetes, nerve problems in the legs, or reduced circulation, check with your healthcare provider before regular use.
How do I put on and care for my compression garments?
Donning aids and grip gloves make putting them on much easier, especially for firmer levels. Wash them gently with a mild washing solution, air dry, and avoid fabric softeners and high heat to keep the compression working as long as possible.
